FAQs

How does the teeth whitening process work?

A hydrogen peroxide gel is applied to the teeth and activated under an LED whitening light for 20 minutes. This process is repeated two more times, resulting in a total of three 20-minute sessions under the LED light.

How long do results last?

Individual results will vary based on tooth composition and personal habits. On average, lasting results range from 3 to 6 months.

Will I experience sensitivity?

Mild sensitivity can occur. We recommend hydrating well the day prior to and the day of your appointment to help alleviate dehydrated tooth nerves. The whitening process dehydrates the teeth, so adequate hydration is important. Rest assured, our whitening gel does not damage teeth.

Will my crowns or fillings whiten?

Crowns and fillings will only whiten to their original shade.

Is the tooth whitening procedure considered a dental procedure?

No. Our teeth whitening procedure is cosmetic only. Your practitioner is a Registered Dental Hygienist with extensive knowledge of the mouth, teeth, and gums, but your practitioner will not be practicing dentistry.
